Writing is about assembling a long sequence of words, be it on any medium. Storytelling is about putting together characters, plots and sequences of events. There are tools specifically for this. html documents are about layout. The actual text is another matter all together. So, I don't see the correlation there myself regarding writing and development. PD is development, absolutely. And it can be used for all sorts of things, though it is mainly targeted at creating live processing for audio and video. There are others too.Supercollider, CSound. All of those are specifically targeted at multimedia processing of some kind, so they are not generic development languages/environments. And, therefore, I cannot see the correlation between that and say web development. But, a lot of people seem to find artistic elements in coding itself, which I find a little strange myself. -- ubuntu-studio-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-devel
