If we get the CD build of Ubuntu Studio going this time around, it will

anything from it using an internet connection.
So around one gig-ish then.
The ISO would be install only, the live portion would not be usable in any
artistic context. Is tha what we want? or only to try changing some things?
More comments :)
Just because we ship whisker doesn't mean we have to set it up by default.
It is a nice menu for a simple home desktop, but may not be the best thing
for a more complex development setup. (artistic creation is closer to
development than anything else) The old pannel menu is still there and
settings could just as easy use that.... But, I wuld like to see other
people's reaction anyway. If people feel whisker is nicer we can use it.
Or we could even have more than one whisker (four) one for desktop, audio,
graphics and video. To be compatible with other DEs, our standrd menu
would have to be there somewhere :) as well.
Note: when testing whisker please check the use of the utility type
submenus. There is an extra click needed and I think it only "inlines" the
items.
