Whilst looking at something else I came across the ubuntustudio-screensaver package. It has not been touched for a long time, and is no longer seeded.

1. Is there some setup step I am missing?
I really don't know.
2. Does the package need work, or the X-defaults need something set up, to help any users installing it? 3. Should we just remove it from the archive?
Because we are trying to go DE agnostic, And are using whatever xubuntu uses, I would choose (3).
Further, I am starting to find screensavers/blankers on the painful side as I start to use control surfaces more often. The new (since 14.04) presentation mode switch, is wonderful.
With MIDI or OSC controllers (Via network) there is no way for X to know the user is actively using the system.
