Hooray!! I have now succeeded making my first guitar recording with Ubuntu Studio via Ardour!!!
Thank you all for all the help. I was so elated that I exported the track to my YouTube and Facebook accounts, by using the open source OpenShotVideo Editor (which took me 1/2 hour to learn and implement). I stuck on a slideshow of some of my pics I processed with Darktable and Gimp. http://youtu.be/Z-5URkHKKII As they say..."Don't give up before the miracle." Cheers, Leo
