Believe me, if we could, we would :-) I'm well aware that this is additional work for translators, package maintainers and myself too, so I'd be happy to hear any suggestions and see contributions to be able to translate these in Launchpad. A while ago Gabor had a good idea on how to handle them through the ubuntu-app-install-data translations, but at that point it wasn't accepted by developers. In any case, that would not work in the current case for unity launcher entries, but it's just a nice example of good ideas for improvement. In any case, thanks to everyone for your understanding and for your readiness to adapt to special case translations, I see there are quite a few already, so good work everyone! https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/Wanted/FirefoxDesktop Cheers, David. > The normal review and privileges process is gone and it is easy to edit > a different lang by mistake. > > -Anders > > > Den 25-03-2011 13:05, David Planella skrev: > > Hi all, > > > > Some of you have already noticed it, but here's to announce that we've > > got a couple of new messages to translate for Firefox. > > > > These appear as an option when right-clicking on the Firefox launcher in > > Unity, and they are available for translation here: > > > > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/Wanted/FirefoxDesktop > > > > Please add your translations there and we'll get them comitted by > > NonLanguagePackTranslationDeadline on April 14th [1] > > > > Thanks! > > > > Regards, > > David. > > > > [1] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NattyReleaseSchedule > > > > -- David Planella Ubuntu Translations Coordinator www.ubuntu.com / www.davidplanella.wordpress.com www.identi.ca/dplanella / www.twitter.com/dplanella
