About testing before release to the general public. If the testing means
delay of releasing updates, I would be in favour of release straight away.
And if updates are not released on a regular basis due to the amount of
work it requires, perhaps those who are doing it now could publish
step-by-step instructions so that others can help.

I think, David wrote somewhere that they are exported bi-weekly but have
to be tested and approved manually to be released to "the general
public". The testing procedure is defined in the wiki
