The utility is called escputil, see http://packages.debian.org/testing/utils/escputil though it appeared in my Breezy by default. Under the KDE Printer manager > Printers tab you get the chance to select 'Printer Tools > EPSON Inkjet'. This looks like a gui frontend for the same utility. Not that I can get it to work. I'd be interested in hearing how you get on with it.
