Hi, I've been running Hardy for a while now, and had very few major problems. Hardy is still zipping along at a fast pace, so there is still a possibility of getting a broken system, so at this point I would say that you should only upgrade if you can revert to an older kernel (i.e. press down in grub), and handle an X that won't start. The next (I think) release will be a beta, so that should be much more stable, so if you are not happy with the above, then wait for that. Of course, if you install the alpha, you can report bugs. This will mean that they have a much greater chance of being fixed for hardy, and you'll be helping to improve the distro you use.
