Reboot, press ESC to bring up the GRUB menu, press "e" to edit the
kernel line, add "ipv6.disable=1" (no quotes) to the end of the line
that ends "quiet splash". Press Ctrl-X to boot.

Congrats, you've just disabled IPV6 globally - is that any better?
