That's not to say that it won't work now (or maybe in 11.10) as I gather a lot of work has been done since then. It is listed here http://www.quickcamteam.net/devices/non-uvc-webcams as a non-UVC webcam that needs the gspca driver, which I think the wiki article is about, but when I tried installing it I did not have much success. My advice remains: find a UVC compliant webcam. Tony
