Out of all of these, Linode is the only one that gives us reasonable flexibility. AppEngine is slick but limited to a subset of Python and Java solutions, mostly handmade. Canonical hosting is generous but getting IS to change anything is harder than moving a mountain. Anyone who's gotten 500 errors on the Wiki can attest to that. Considering we want to run a Planet, and having a Wordpress front page up would allow anyone with permission to easily and securely edit the main site content, I really think we should go with the Linode. Just my opinion of course and I'm a little biased. I keep at least one Linode powered on all the time :) -- Ubuntu-us-ca mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-us-ca
