This is an Ubuntu Hour... you dont really have to do research and plan it out too much. If it was a bugfest, install fest, release party, etc... it makes perfect sense to follow some of Nathans great ideas for holding a bigger event. If you have the free time, you might even experiment with a lunch Ubuntu Hour and an early evening Ubuntu Hour at the same place (even the same day) and see what happens.
