It would be nice to have a contact for the US Teams project, kind of like the one that was voted in during the July meeting. (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-us/2007-July/000026.html) I don't say this because I was the one voted in, but that you're completely ignoring that 1) this already exists and 2) that you never agreed with it in the first place. Don't be passive agressive about your problems with me, if you've got a problem say it but please don't simply ignore that someone is already in this position and try to open a public vote without even mentioning that it would be usurping an existing position.
