Hello David, or anyone else affected, Accepted unity-webapps-googleplus into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity- webapps-googleplus/2.4.17+14.04.20140422-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
