Apparently there was an update to 1.9.0 (but only lucid - gdal-bin_1.9.0-1~exp1~lucid1_amd64.deb) in ubuntugis unstable. The dependants are not automatically rebuilt - and AFAICS nobody is notified. So qgis still depends on the previous package. Jürgen -- Jürgen E. Fischer norBIT GmbH Tel. +49-4931-918175-20 Dipl.-Inf.
