New question #77050 on Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77050
I have the Dell 9.04 64-bit Distro running on the integrated Intel GMA X4500HD video on my Dell Vostro 220S. my system has 4Gb of memory. I'm not using any propriatary drivers. I have two issues with the Ubuntu display. Firstly, when I select the "normal" Video effects settings, the video breaks up when switching between two user sessions. The problem goes away when dropping the Visual effects setting down to "None". This seems strange as my 6 year old Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop is quite happy with "Normal" settings and that has just 32K of video! Secondly - and this may be related to this - sometimes when starting a session, the font quality (particularly in Firefox running a theme) is very poor and other times using the same theme, its great. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
