keepitsimpleengr is still having a problem:
There are many more problems than just a terminal opening, such as
setting the number of desktops with gnome-panel.
This is a one instance only work-around.
A better work-around for this one instance is to select "open in
terminal" from the drop down menu triggered by the right mouse button on
the desktop. This however create additional problems.
