Question #77768 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77768
Tom posted a new comment: Hi If you haven't removed 7.10 then please feel free to ask it as a new question https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+addquestion I am not sure if Rob meant to post that to a different question but if not then i think he was saying to learn Ubuntu gradually. Sometimes people want everything to work right now but it takes time to get used to some things - so it's worth keeping Windows (or something) so that you can keep using that for the things you can't yet do in linux until you have time to explore and learn another small part of using linux. It's a good plan but i think some of your troubles need fixing even before you can use linux at all ;) For removing 7.10 we have to find out if it is installed inside Windows using the Wubi or if it was installed properly on its own partition. Hopefully we can trouble-shoot through that if you post this as a new question :) Good luck and regards from Tom :) -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
