Question #78103 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78103
actionparsnip posted a new comment: It can be, depends what the server is doing. Linux isn't universally better than Windows as most fanboys will say. Its a tool for a job, if Linux suits your needs better then use it Where I work we have nearly 2,500 servers (Citrix, web and sql boxes), some are virtualised and run great, the host is redhat based as the guests simply run better, the guest systems are all win2k3. We also use solaris SAN servers, again these tested better under our environment. Just use what you test to be better for you and your needs -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
