You will find that there are many incorporated fixes. I have notices incremental improvements with each update. I have had no issue with apps known to work in Wine and found that more and more will run that didn't work in earlier releases.
Ubuntu is always a work in progress.....keep getting the updates. I will, at least twice weekly sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade This pulls any new updates.
