Sounds like your keyring is configured incorrectly.

The Gnome keyring is an application that can remember all your passwords for
you. Normally, the keyring is 'locked', meaning that passwords cannot be
retrieved.

To unlock it, you just need to enter the gnome-keyring password when
prompted; this is the password that you used when you first setup
gnome-keyring. After you enter this password, gnome-keyring will remember
your saved password and do whatever it was supposed to do.

If this is the first time you have used the keyring, it will prompt you for
a *new* keyring password; enter one. It will be used to unlock your keyring
in the future.

Hope this helps; if you still can't get it to work, let us know *exactly*
what message you get.
