Enable root login in your system:

Then, login as root and then do the task for automatic login. [As root
user the Administration menu and its submenus will be definitely
visible]. And in the same process, enable sudo privileges for "George"
so that you don't mishandle your root account by mistake.[This
procedure is clearly given in your system help]. At any cost, DO NOT
USE ROOT ACCOUNT FOR DAILY TASKS ELSE THE VERY IDEA OF SECURITY IN
YOUR LINUX SYSTEM IS DEFEATED.
