Hi there I recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 and network manager gets an ipaddress from my modem but I am unable to ping network resources or surf the internet. When I put in Ubuntu 8.04 LiveCD I am able to surf the internet and view the network resources fine with out any problems. I have done this on 2 computers and the same result each time.
