To whom it may concern, I am an avid Ubuntu user so when I first heard about Ubuntu One I was excited to use it to backup my business's data. Unfortunately no part of Ubuntu one has been working for me (using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic). The application crashes as soon as I click it, the Ubuntu One folder hangs on "connecting..." and the web interface is unresponsive when I attempt to upload a large file.
I am forced to end my paid subscription with Ubuntu One and look into alternative cloud storage such as DropBox, CrashPlan or Jungle Disk. I understand good software takes time to perfect, but I've waited nearly three weeks for the problems to be fixed. Am I suppose to pay monthly for zero service? As a company that has yet to make a profit; I would advise Canonical to spend more energy on the applications that will turn a profit. -- Kyle Mecklem - Website Designer & Developer http://www.kylemecklem.com P.O.
