I am using a hand-rolled kernel plus OSS4. When I select OSS for the sound output in Hydrogen, and then click to restart the driver, I get an "Error starting audio driver" pop-up. I am able to use several other OSS-capable apps successfully, e.g. VLC, osstest, Adobe Flash Player. To be more specific, VLC works, while Hydrogen doesn't, even though /dev/dsp is selected as the output in both cases.
