Any game that you can milk 10 plays out of, is okay by me. That works out
to about $3-4 per game session. Not bad for your entertainment dollar.

I was probably over hyped on Thebes just because I was taught the game by
Mr. Rio Grande Games, Jay Tummelson. I've only played it one other time
since then. My wife, daughter, and son-in-law all seemed to enjoy it. It
does seem like a good game to play with the family, although they have to be
ready to play for 90 minutues or more.

The thing that keeps Thebes from becoming a "gamer's game" is the random
draw of treasures from the bag. But the components are really cool and I
think the theme really shines through.

I won't trade Thebes and I hope to play it more in the future.
