I will mirror MarkT and Matthew's Remark. This is a good game. It is fun and have a good mechanism that also pressure you to make valid decision. Should I collect more information to draw more during the dig? Or should I beat someone and be the first one to do the dig, thus have a higher possibility to get some good stuffs. Which dig site should I specialize on etc.
Again, as with all others comment it is not for players who dislike randomness, it is good for a family game as, randomness kind of ease in the learning curve. And kids will like the drawing from the bag style of digging. For me, I like randomness in games and this game does not make me feel that the randomness controls the game. I will not trade away my copy. --- Ken --- On Sun, Jan 11, 2009 at 8:38 PM, NinjaBob <[email protected]> wrote: > > I also agree with the above opinions: Great "feel" of "digging" > pieces out of a bag at the archeology sites; Components are very nice; > Very interesting turn taking mechanism! > > Regardless, I found that this game can be frustrating when you feel > like you're making good choices all throughout the game, only to find > that the end result relies heavily on random draw.
