Non-illustrated? That manual is like a Tolstoy novel in length. It's got
icons for every single die in the game. Including the rare promo dice!

As for BGG average ratings, those are for amateurs!

The rules are pretty simple, it's just memorizing the icon symbols that is a
pain. There are some good player aids on the geek though that are good and I
made what I battle mat for the game.

I'd be happy to play with you when you get back though.
