Hey Ken,

I played 2nd Fleet extensively when I was a teenager. The rules, while
complex compared to most modern games, are not exactlygrognard material.

Fans of the series generally regard 2nd and 5th Fleet to be the best of the
series. I like 7th as well. 6th Fleet is the easiest of the bunch, but also
the oldest. My copy of 3rd Fleet is still unpunched, and I don't know much
about it.

So, if you wanted to pick one of the games (2nd, 5th, or 7th, in my
opinion), I'd be more than happy to make a photocopy of the rulebook. Back
in 2000, I started a Yahoo group called vgsfleetleague, which has oddly
enough turned into the hub of online Fleet activity. I haven't been active
there since 2005, when I went on my mission, but I know that they have pdf
copies of a few of the rulebooks there. Let me check when I get home
tonight.
