I had a great time. It was nice to see people I've been gaming with since I crashed Sylvus' group in 2005 and tried to play Railroad Tycoon (which made my new gamer head explode). Five years later and I sort of get Steam, a related game. I'm still amazed at how quickly you guys grasp strategies and implications that I just start figuring out by the end of the game. It's programmers vs. the lone humanities major!
We played Steam, basic game, six players. I think it was only 2.5 hours from start to finish. We started the evening with Thunder Road, which is pure Ameritrash. Everyone seemed to have fun, although it's not a game you want to play every night since it's basically roll, move and destroy. Anyway, great to see everyone! I think there were 20 people in attendance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "utah county boardgamers association" group.
