Kendon, yes -- it is a bit expensive on the iPad, but I got it on there so
I could play the campaigns and do async. The fluff around the game can be
a bit annoying at times, to me at least, but the game system itself, to me,
is very interesting. Before you buy, take a look at some of the online
reviews of the cardboard game so you get an idea of what it is about.
Basically it works like a streamlined tactical war game, but the
restriction on the number of Orders you can play each turn, plus the
decision-making involving moves during the Supply phase I find really add
some tension and deeper thinking to the game. Enjoy!
