I did a clean build of trunk on amd64 debian Wheezy and all of RELRO, NOW, NX
and SSP enabled, and the libraries on by default all passed checksec.
So my problem must be caused by any or all of the following: an obviously
older version used in OpenWRT (0.9.33.2), MIPS, or binutils-linaro-2.24-2013.1
(and 2.23 and 2.22), and not by the latest uClibc.
Using binutls 2.24 linaro with openwrt didn't help.
I guess I'll have to work out how to use trunk uClibc in OpenWRT!
