Hi,

just another thing I forgot to mention:

Despite the actual kernel initialization taking longer, it takes
several minutes of running in background (after the application has
started) after which in /dev/mtd5 the sectors are marked with "headers"
like this (dumped from within U-Boot):
URMEL > md.w 0x800000
00800000: 1985 2003 0000 000c f060 dc98 ffff ffff .. ......`......

Maybe somebody can comment what kind of header this is?

(Again, only /dev/mtd5 is concerned, and I have no idea why)

Thank you,
Wolfgang
