Thanks a lot for helping on this issue.
I forwarded it to the NIOS uCLinux mailing list, as - hopefully -
someone knowledgeable some day soon will enable XIP support for that
arch, and this might help doing so.
Unfortunately, AFAIK, there are compiler issues that prevent full PIC
and thus XIP that need to be resolved.
