Hi, Gavin Lambert

Thanks for your reply!

Actually, our company just wants to buy a target which can run both uClinux
and full linux. I don’t know which target board can. So could you give me
some advice about it?

I checked about uClinux homepage (http://www.uclinux.org/ports/), the list
of "Ported Microcontrollers and Microprocessors" are all without mmu, so I
think these target on the uClinux homepage can not run full linux.
Could you tell me some other url address with more information about "the
supported list"?

Any advice will be help.
Thanks a lot!

Junli

At this stage, uClinux is mostly just the embedded build environment, and
isn't really tied to MMU/!MMU.

Some of the targets in the distribution have MMUs and they do get used.
Other targets don't have MMUs.

So it's basically just a question of whether your board/processor is in the
supported list, not whether or not it has an
MMU.
