Do u mean to say for NOR flash we won't have this problem ? Why?
I think his point was that he had NOR flash, but not NOR ECC flash; If
you look at the linux-mtd webpage, you see the following sentence just
above the quoted section:
"On NOR FLASH each write goes directly into the FLASH."
A significant omission to the quote.
