After 3 attempts, I was unable to install Ubuntu under Virtual Machine.

So decided to install Ubuntu within Windows (Wubi).

The next step is to install the compiler/linker/debugger tool chain.

1) Is there an Eclipse based IDE that will allow me to get the cross-compiling
going?

2) Do I need to purchase a debugger that works with our P&E USB Multilink BDM
or I can find it for free?

Any documentation of hints for the next step: being able to compile and
download/burn ucLinux on a board will be greatly appreciated.
