Hi Andrea, The RFC Edit Feature Workflow RFC (http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/UDIG/Feature+editing+workflow) still needs voting on. Several developers are working on this RFC so to facilitate them an EditFeatureWorkflow branch was created.
