thanks for the reply Jody. I understand about the commitments that we have to make in gsoc. And wanted to know if the ideas on this page : http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/UDIG/Ideas are still applicable if udig decides to participate this year. i find the ideas interesting, and would like to contribute to some of them. Even though i haven't contributed to an open source project before, thus more of the reason to be a part of it. :)
