I don't think that this is Alexandre's problem. The issue is that UFRaw's interface is getting more complicated and scary all the time. Adding a compilation option is NOT the solution. Organizing the UI better, like putting all the denoise relevant controls in one page is part of the solution. The detailed tooltip for despeckling is also part of the solution.
