Whether or not the despeckling interface is instantiated doesn't seem
to make a difference here. And there's room after the despeckle controls
(before the live histogram, see the grayscale page).

xwininfo invariantly reports Width=904, Height=782 after trying to resize
it as small as possible in the default configuration so yes it might
not fit on a 1280x800 resolution laptop, depending on window manager
(fvwm2: Width=914, Height=821).

The "Correct luminosity, saturation" page seems to be the limiting
factor here.
