my friend managed to solve the problem...apparently there was some issue about the disc not being purged properly .. it was required to use the " dd if=/dev/zero 0f=/dev/rdisk/c*t*d*s* ... " command to purge the disc and start the installation! it worked out fine... now basically we have to install linux in the last two partitions and then solaris in the first 6 ... hopefully that will work fine...
