   So you are used to conio.h and dos.h from the Turboc/Borlandc days.
   I still use that amazingly fast and easy to use IDE. Beats today's IDEs
   in every respect ;)

   The closest you can get to dos.h/conio.h on Unix in to use 
Curses/NCurses.
   A good guide is available at:

   It might be useful to have a short intro to Curses in the next BOSUG
   meet if enough people are interested. I believe this is a neglected 
topic.
