Hi, I am Manjunath from Bangalore. Though I work on applications on Solaris, unfortunately I cannt get my hands dirty with the OS. My work mainly relates to Java applications on Solaris.
I would love to work on the Solaris kernel and have been studiously following the OpenSolaris forum. I do have experience in tweaking the Linux kernel code, I would like to get started with OpenSolaris. >From the mailing list, I find there are many helping hands. I would appreciate your help to get me started. I assume, OpenSolaris can be installed in my Home PC. I have a Linux box on P2 machine with 64MB RAM. I would like to use this disk for my (OpenSolaris) OS installation (after repartitioning), but without losing my data. Please let me know, if there are better ways of using OS. Thanks all, >> Manjunath -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/ug-bosug/attachments/20051205/d2b08d78/attachment.html>
