THE Police in Rakai have
arrested the Kyotera acting town engineer, Jackson Byakagaba,
for allegedly torturing his son with a hot metallic
instrument.
The child was burnt on the lips for allegedly
stealing a piece of cooked meat.
Byakagaba 42, is on
interdiction. The district Police liaison officer Pufredic
Lukoya told The New Vision that William Mande was found by
Local Council officials.
Policemen were stunned when
Byakagaba started questioning his arrest.
He said he had
the powers to discipline his son because he did not want him
to grow up a thief. Ends
