Kazini has two weeks. The man committed himself openely to the whole nation
and members of the International Community that if Kony and the so called
Kony rebels are not finished by Dec 31, 2002, He ( Kazini) will resign...and
we awaite Kazini's resignation...and he should do so prompto. This is
exactly what the so called members of Yoweri Museveni's Parliament( who are
worth any salt ) should demand of Kazini.. and not providing us with some
mambo jumbo remarks.

The minister of state for International Affairs, Maj. Tom Butime, has said
the December 31 deadline given by Maj. Gen. James Kazini to flash out rebel
leader Joseph Kony was unrealistic.
Butime, who is also MP for Mwenge North, was on Friday meeting the Toro
parliamentary group in Kamwenge.
He said Kazini was out of order to set such a deadlines and go public.
"He is not allowed to say such a thing because he is not the
commander-in-chief. It is only the President who can say such a thing," he
said.
Butime said President Yoweri Museveni and the UPDF were working hard to end
the insurgency in the northern region but to say that there would be no rebel
left by December 31, was unrealistic.
"It is true Kony will be much weakened. The President himself is committed to
ending the war and that is why he is camped in Gulu," Butime said
The MPs present were Captain Charles Byaruhanga (Kibaale), Dora Byamukama
(Mwenge south), Captain Basaliza (Burahya) and the Toro parliamentary group
chairman, Adolf Mwesige (Bunyangabu).
