Margaret Ziribaggwa of Bukedde reports that two Police officers are in critical condition at Mulago hospital after a light plane undergoing a test flight crashed at Entebbe on Friday evening.

Those critically injured are David Baboineki, the pilot and the engineer Charles Onen, both Police officers. Deputy Police spokesman Mr. John Kimera said that the plane was undergoing a test flight at around 4:30 Ugandan time when it crashed and that the two officers were admitted at Mulago hospital in critical condition. 

The Deputy Police spokesman concluded by saying that the plane is not expected to fly again as the damage was so severe. The cause of the crash has not  been established but investigations are underway.
