The 65-year-old Irene Marjorie Kabamori, suffered a stroke in 1992 and later developed breast cancer, her daughter Nakalema Binaisa, said. “She has been in-and-out of hospital for the last 10 years,” Nakalema said. Kabamori was linked to Toro kingdom’s ruling Babito clan. She hails from a noble clan, the Bagahi. A shocked and crest fallen Godfrey Binaisa said, “She’s been ill for a long time and died in her sleep on Sunday afternoon from complications related to a stroke. She was a kind, well behaved wife.” Kabamori died at her daughter’s home at Brightling in London. She is survived by four girls and three boys.
