Yesterday I was listening to a Toronto Talk Radio
Station CFRB 1010 and one of the callers stated very well "If that is the
evidence we need to go and kill 500,000 people then God must help us" I think
that summed it all up very well.
But there is another problem we have, the markets
are in danger. Yesterday when he finished to rumble, the markets went up, barely
20 minutes when other members of the security council started to call for more
inspection time, they plummeted, then you wonder what is the long term effect is
this administration going to do with the markets? The British Generals want to
know the ethical rights of going into this war, but hey we must listen to the
Cow boy from Texas, he says Iraqis must die and they will.

Was or rather did the US Secretary of
State, Colin Powell offer sufficient evidence before members of the
International Community which would now warrant a declaration of war against
Iraq?. ...Some would urge that he did. Whereas some would argue that he
did not.
Nonetheless, I would say, the secretary did put up a very
brilliant performance before members of the UN Security Council. He most
definitely did the "THE ADLER STEVENSON THING"
As for wars... well
some of us do not believe in wars .. Especially if the alternative to wars
have not been completely exhausted.
With wars, as you know, tens of
thousand of Iraq civilians will most definitely suffer. ..and who knows
what the long term implication this pending war in the gulf would
have not only on Iraq civilians, on US servicemen, e.t.c
Nobody.
..not even the pentagon war planners have figured out the long term
implication of this pending war.
What of the North Koreans, I
hear they have already developed two NUKES. I take it the United States with
it's allies are going to attack North Korea, after all North Korea is one of
the many states which make up President George Bush's "AXIES OF
EVIL"..
.... Beside isn't it a fact that North Koreans might be a much
more deadlier threat to world peace? Isn't it possible that the Koreans might
NUKE South Korean if wars was to erupt between north and south Korea..and
throw the wars into yet another Nuke crises?
Is it far fetched to urge
that because of the food crunch and overall economic hardship in North Korean,
the North Koreans might be compelled to offer some of their "merchandise" to
terrorist organizations out there?
I like the French idea that let
the UN deploy 3,000 or 5000 arms inspectors, or even 10,000 (if that is what
is needed) to monitor Iraq and ensure that Saddam Hussien's Iraq complies with
UN resolution 1441.

US media had suggest that Secretary of State Colin Powell
was playing down what he would present to the UN Security Council about
Iraq's alleged deceptions, weapons of mass destruction, and support for
terrorism, so that when he made his revelations, they would have all the
greater impact. Having heard Powell's presentation, it is now clear he was
