Museveni To Attend Kagame Swearing-In

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni will be among a dozen
heads of state at the swearing-in ceremony of Rwanda president-elect, Maj Gen
Paul Kagame tomorrow.
Also invited to Kigali are Kenya�s Mwai Kibaki,
South Africa�s Thabo Mbeki, Tanzania�s Benjamin Mkapa, DR Congo�s Joseph Kabila
and Burkina Faso�s Blaise Compaore. �President Kagame extended the invitation to
his brother President Museveni. I am sure it is going to get a positive
response,� Uganda�s ambassador to Rwanda Adonia Ayebare said.
Burundi�s
Domitien Ndayizeye, Ismael Omar Guelleh of Djibouti, Ethiopia�s Girma
Wolde-Giorgis, Malawi�s Bakili Muluzi, Joachim Chissano of Mozambique and
Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria, are also expected to attend the swearing-in at
Amahoro stadium.
Meanwhile, Ndayizeye and Pierre Nkurunziza, the leader
of the rebels, arrived in Kampala on Tuesday and held talks with Museveni.
